Peter Prazmowski is an economist, public policy expert, and Executive Director of the Dominican Republic's National Competitiveness Council (Consejo Nacional de Competitividad – CNC), where he leads national initiatives to strengthen productivity, investment, institutional modernization, and economic competitiveness. He also serves as Executive Director of the Bureaucracy Zero Program and Meta RD 2036, an ambitious national strategy aimed at transforming the Dominican economy over the next decade.

Prior to joining the CNC, he advised the Dominican Republic's Central Bank, Ministry of Finance, Grupo León Jimenes, and the National Productivity and Competitiveness Group, developing deep expertise in macroeconomics, public policy, and economic development.

Peter holds a degree in Economics and Statistics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Chevening Master's in Economics and Econometrics from the London School of Economics, and a PhD in Economics from Kingston University.

He is the author and co-author of several books and academic publications on macroeconomics, development, and competitiveness, including Gazebo, por un sueño país, co-authored with Xavier Sala-i-Martín. His keynote presentations combine rigorous economic analysis with practical policy experience, offering leaders actionable ideas for building more competitive economies and institutions.
