  • Recognized by the World Business Forum as the best speaker in the world
  • Nando Parrado is one of the survivors of the plane that crashed in the Andes Mountains in 1972
  • He is the author of the best-seller "Miracle in the Andes," as well as a successful businessman and television producer
  • He worked with Piers Paul Read to write the worldwide best-seller "ALIVE" and served as the Technical Advisor for the production of the movie "ALIVE."
  • His story is a lesson in courage, determination, leadership, and teamwork. A necessary conference for those who have to climb personal or business mountains

Nando Parrado began to speak about his experiences in the Andes in 1992, when he was invited to address the Young President’s Organization. After speaking to several multi-national companies, he transformed himself into one of the most unique speakers in the world. He has spoken to audiences in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Parrado, a sportsman, seminar leader, and president of several companies, uses his experience surviving in the Andes — the most hostile environment on the planet, to articulate innovative strategies for those that need to scale personal or business mountains in the twenty-first century.

Parrado’s achievements are a powerful testimony to his attitude of survival. His life was quickly transformed in the Andes — He lost his mother, sister and his two best friends in the crash, and suffered a skull fracture. He recovered, and escaped through the Andes Mountains with his friend, Roberto. Because of this escape, his story and the stories of those that lost their lives in the crash can be shared.

His keynotes paint a thrilling history of one of the most important odysseys of survival in our time, but it’s also an inspired call to businessmen and women alike, to transform into adventurers and face the challenges of this decade.

Parrado’s keynotes focus on many subjects that help a company or organization succeed: leadership, teamwork, motivation, handling of crisis, change, planning and strategy, handling of conflict, and how to handle one’s own fears. It is a lesson in leadership and tactical planning, not only for human survival, but also for the survival of companies. It is a story of loyalty, friendship, family, faith and perseverance experienced at the human level that few will be able to relate, but will touch the audience’s heart and leave it with an elevated perception of the value of human life.

“It is better to decide and make a mistake than not to decide. There is always time to turn back”
Nando Parrado

Society of the Snow

This film is one of the most important and ambitious Spanish-language projects to be released in 2023.

The film is inspired by the book "The Snow Society" by Pablo Vierci and is directed by acclaimed director J.A. Bayona.

Bayona has commented that it was during the documentation process for the filming of "The Impossible" that he discovered the fascinating chronicle of the Andes tragedy written by Vierci. And, more than ten years later, my fascination with the story remains intact and I am happy to have faced the challenge of telling one of the most remembered events of the 20th century. Even, with all the complexity that implies a story that gives as much relevance to the survivors as to those who never returned from the mountains.

A lesson in courage, determination, leadership and teamwork

Nando Parrado began giving lectures about his experience in 1992, invited by the Young President's Organization, and then he was called by several multinational companies, having become one of the most important speakers worldwide, with conferences in the United States, Europe, Asia , Australia and Latin America.

A necessary conference for those who have to climb personal or business mountains. In his lectures, Nando Parrado, athlete, seminar leader and president of several companies, uses his experience surviving in the most hostile environment on the planet, to articulate an innovative strategy for success in the 21st century.

This is the gripping story of one of the most important survival odysseys in history, but it is also an inspiring call to businessmen and women to become adventurers to face the challenges of the new millennium. The extraordinary story of Nando Parrado has been carved from an absolutely normal life. His achievements are a powerful testimony to his survivalist attitude. A life quickly transformed, as through his incredible physical and mental recovery...after losing his mother and sister in the accident and suffering a Coma 4 skull fracture...he recovers, helps, leads, he decides and escapes through the mountains. He crosses all the Andes with his friend Roberto and thanks to this... the story and the other stories can be told.

In these motivational conferences, all topics that can help a company or organization in various areas are discussed: Leadership, Teamwork, Motivation, Crisis Management, Change, Planning & Strategy, Conflict Management, How to Manage Your Own Fears.
