Sonia Marciano, Clinical Professor of Management and Organizations at Stern School of Business since 2007, is a widely recognized expert on competitive strategy and corporate social responsibility.
Sonia Marciano has worked as Professor of Strategy at Columbia Business School, Kellogg School of Management and the University of Chicago. She has also taught executive education at Ernst & Young and Abbott Laboratories, among others. Prior to joining Stern School of Business she was fellow and senior lecturer at Harvard University's Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness.
Dr. Marciano has won several teaching awards, most recently for best professor in Stern School of Business' Executive MBA program (2010). She is among the highest rated professors at Stern School of Business, Columbia Business School, Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management and University of Chicago.
Sonia Marciano holds an MBA and Ph.D in Business Economics and Industrial Organization from University of Chicago. She has worked extensively in the consulting, banking and insurance industries, and can cover a wide range of topics ranging from competitive strategy, internal governance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate social responsibility.
